Four awards · Two ClearView programs · One governance architecture
The Howell Legacy Group has been recognized in four categories across two of the wealth management industry’s most prestigious annual programs administered by ClearView Financial Media in 2026.
At the Family Wealth Report Awards 2026 (announced 30 April 2026 at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan), the firm received the Healthcare Services award for the integrated work of H&L Venture Group’s BrightStar Care franchise. The judging panel cited the franchise’s delivery of skilled nursing, personal support, and specialized dementia services in the East Richmond, Virginia community, noting that the integration of family office planning with healthcare operations “combines operational excellence, quality outcomes, and meaningful service for families across generations.”
At the WealthBriefing Wealth For Good Awards 2026 (announced 11 June 2026 at Druces LLP in the City of London), The Howell Legacy Group received recognition in three Americas categories simultaneously: Leading Individual in Wealth For Good (John Shelton Howell III), Initiative or Program (Today’s Child Foundation), and Innovative Technology Solution (AITCH Technologies LLC). Three categories in a single regional cycle is an unusual outcome at the WFG Awards.
The judges’ citation for the Leading Individual award characterized the work as “embedding philanthropy, conservation, and public accountability into the core structure of his family enterprise.”
